Singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona is on tour with his concert series "Circo Soledad," and although his performances have been full house, in his most recent visit to the Dominican Republic, authorities seized the sound equipment, according to the local press.

The action comes after businessman Saymon Díaz and Félix Cabrera accused Arjona with the National District Attorney's Office of abuse of trust and for a debt of $700 thousand for presentations that the he didn’t make in 2015. According to Diario Libre, Luis Aybar, one of the legal representatives of the singer, filed an action for a court to order the return of the equipment seized, but this was postponed until Wednesday, February 14. "The lawyers of the singer made the request with the purpose of nullifying the action," Cabrera's lawyer told Diario Libre.

In 2017 the “Circo Soledad” concert series became one of the most successful tours in the United States, being the only Latin American artist to become part of one of the "Hot Tours" lists of Billboard. It was expected that on February 14, Arjona would begin his tour in the U.S., starting in Puerto Rico for Valentine's Day, and then continue through New York, Boston, Miami, North Carolina, Duluth Georgia, Los Angeles, Ontario, San Jose, Fresno and Sacramento, and later go to Europe.

Arjona's "circus" includes 8 musicians, an acrobat and a unique clown named "Panchorizo." The staging generates an impact, from screens with more than 40 feet high and the design of scenery that doesn't let you forget the circus origin and at the same time is full of surprises.
