Easter 2015: Nike, Adidas Unveil New Pastel Shoes For LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, John Wall, Damian Lillard, Derrick Rose [PHOTOS]

Forget coloring Easter eggs on Sunday, Nike, Adidas and the NBA are coloring shoes! The world’s leading athletic shoe companies unveiled their new line of Pastel sneakers this weekend that will be worn by the likes of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, John Wall, Damian Lillard and Derrick Rose during the NBA’s slate of Easter Sunday games.

Nike announced on Friday, that they would introduce new Easter colors that “play on the colors and prints synonymous with Easter.” They choose four of their top-selling signature shoes that hopefully will be worn by the Easter bunny himself this holiday.

The first signature shoe is the Kobe X Easter that comes in a few different colors. The shoes are two-toned with red and teal, purple and black, magenta and teal, and lime green and orange. Originally, Kobe himself was scheduled to wear the shoes when the Lakers play their hallway mates, the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center. But, with Bryant out for the season with a torn rotator cuff, other members of the Lakers team are expected to wear the shoe.

The LeBron 12 Easter is the second signature shoe you’ll see on Sunday and the two-toned purple and black will represent King James on the court come Sunday.

LeBron’s teammate Kyrie Irving is getting his first ever Easter edition of his shoe as the magenta, purple, black, red and teal colored shoe looks like a funky shark’s mouth.

The final signature shoe is Kevin Durant’s KD7 Easter mix. It’s a trio of colors that Nike calls “liquid lime, vapor green and sunset glow.” It comes with Durant’s infamous black strap across the top of the shoe. Like Kobe, Durant is out for the season and will not be wearing his shoes come Sunday.

Not to be outdone, Adidas unveiled its Easter collection of shoes for their trip of NBA point guards. The Easter egg inspired sneakers are sure to turn your head when you see them on the court, and in our opinion are perfectly pastel in theme and tone compared to Nike’s collection. Check out the pictures of all the shoes below and tell us what you think in the comments section.

The NBA’s Easter slate of games kicks off at 1:00 PM EST when the Houston Rockets take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. Expect to see plenty of Thunder players wearing the KD7 Easter mix. At 3:30 PM EST Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls travel to Cleveland to take on LeBron James and the Cavaliers. Rose more than likely won’t play in the game, but expect to see his Adidas Easter shoes as well as the LeBron 12 Easter on full display. Both games will be on ABC.
