Eva Longoria

It all makes sense now. That mysterious man with whom Eva Longoria was seen passionately kissing in New York City last month that had everyone thinking was Eduardo Cruz, happens to be José Antonio Bastón, the President of Content and Television of Grupo Televisa. The couple dined at Serafina in the Big Apple twice in one day and onlookers reported they were openly affectionate with each other. "They were very cute together, holding hands and giving each other little kisses," a witness told E! "They were adorable. Eva was in a great mood, huge smile on her face and very kind to the staff."

"He's been sweeping her off her feet and courting her like a proper gentleman," a source told People Magazine. And we're glad that Eva is finally stepping up. From a struggling Spanish pop star (sorry, Eduardo!) to a bankrupt reality TV show contestant that, according to rumors, was only dating the gorgeous Eva for her fame and fortune, this time around, the actress and producer has set the bar to a very acceptable standard and we're not complaining. Not only is José Antonio, or Pepe, as he is known, the president of Televisa, the largest media company in Latin America, but he is also a member of Grupo Televisa's Board of Directors and Executive Committee and a member of the boards of Cablevisión, SKY and Univision.

The media mogul, 45, and the 38-year-old actress went public with their romance at the Museo Jumex opening dinner at Case De La Bola in Mexico City on Friday, where they happily posed for pictures. After much digging, Celeb Dirty Laundry found out that Eva's been spending lots of time Mexico recently, including in early October when she visited the set of "La Tempestad," a Televisa telenovela, and posed with William Levy and the rest of the cast, along with Bastón. Maybe she will venture in the telenovela business now that she's dating "the" man. What do you think? Does she have what it takes to be a telenovela actress? Or maybe she should stick to producing more shows?
