One of the highlights of the MTV VMAs 2017 was when Fifth Harmony took the stage to perform. During their number five silhouettes appeared, but as soon as the music started 0ne of them jumps off the platform, which was a dig at Camila Cabello that left the group late last year. After the moment went viral the girls are admitting that it was their former band member. "We get asked all the time if we're getting a fifth member," Ally Brooke said on "Good Morning America." "We wanted to show the world in an artistic way that the four of us are Fifth Harmony and we're stronger and better than we've ever been." Watch the interview below and tell us what you think!

Camila Cabello left the group that was formed on "The X-Factor USA" Season 2. News was made official on December 19 in a statement shared from their official Twitter account. “After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representative that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well.”

Cabello was quick to react and released her own statement where she said: “The girls were aware of my feelings through the long, much needed conversations about the future that we had during tour. Saying that they were just informed through my representatives that I was ‘leaving the group’ is simply not true. Just like the other girls said in their statement about their plans, I had also planned to continue with my own solo endeavors in the new year, but I did not intend to end things with Fifth Harmony this way. As sad as it is to see this chapter ending this way, I will continue to root them all on as individuals and as a group. I wish nothing but the best for them.”

Fifth Harmony then fired back in another statement that read: “We have spent the past year and a half (since her initial solo endeavor) trying to communicate to her and her team all of the reasons why we felt Fifth Harmony deserved at least one more album of her time, given the success of this past year that we’d all worked so hard for.

The statement continued saying: "We called for group meetings which she refused, we asked L.A. Reid and the label to step in and try to set meetings, which again, she refused. We even went as far as group counseling which she did not show up to. So no, after months of rejection from her and her team, these supposed lengthy conversations in fact never happened, although we pleased.

"We have tried with exhausted efforts and hearts to keep this group alive as the five of us, and we want it to be very clear that unfortunately those efforts were not mutual."

Earlier this year Cabello talked about her time in the pop band and said she didn't like how they were all sexualized. “Especially with being a girl group, there’s been a lot of times where people have tried to sexualize us to just get more attention,” she said. “Unfortunately, sex sells. There’s definitely been times where there’s stuff that I have not been comfortable with and I’ve had to put my foot down…I feel like it’s been tricky because we’ve had to grow into ourselves while being in front of the world and while making songs that did have a lot of sexual undertones.”

Camila contonued, “There’s nothing wrong with showing sexuality. If you have that inside, it’s just an expression of who you are. If you want to share that with people, that’s amazing.”
