Players looking for something new in the Xbox One title "Halo 5: Guardians" will be happy to know the title has received a new multiplayer mode.

The new mode titled "Warzone Turbo" was detailed by 343 Industries lead multiplayer designer Lawrence Metten in a blog post. Players who participate in "Warzone Turbo" will be boosted to level nine and give them nearly instant energy regeneration. Additonally, Metten said that all players also have access to their whole Req inventory for the entire match.

Metten describes the mode as a "fiesta-esque mayhem on a gigantic scale, where you are instantly placed at Level 9 as soon as your Home Base is secure, and are imbued with near-instantaneous energy regeneration."

"Warzone Turbo" will be available to gamers until April 4, so jump in and play while the mode is open.

Meanwhile, Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has suggested that a port of "Halo 5: Guardians" for PC is unlikely. PC Gamer reports, that while speaking at the Build 2016 conference Spencer discussed "Halo 5" not coming to PC but remained hopeful that future "Halo" titles could make the jump from the console. Spencer said:

"In terms of Halo FPS on PC, I think there’s a ton of opportunity for us right now, but I don’t want to get into a world where we’re looking back, like at Halo 5. It doesn’t mean there’s nothing there that could ever end up on PC, but I’d much rather look forward with what our plans are."

Spencer also talked about how it is important for developers to create games for both platforms saying:

"I don’t want to make it some kind of artificial mandate, because then I think we end up with ‘Frankengames’, games that really weren't meant for a certain platform. And because some suit said, ‘Hey, everything’s gotta run on both platforms’, you end up with something people don’t want."
