Dayanara Torres is a woman of her word. The former Miss Universe said she was taking ex-husband Marc Anthony to court in order to increase her child support payments from $13,000 to a whopping $112,000 based on Marc’s huge earnings. Dayanara, who was married to Marc from 2000 to 2004, believes that her children, Cristian, 12, and Ryan, 10, deserve more.

Back in November, when the case became public, it was said Dayanara was infuriated because Marc played the poverty card during their divorce, and he even claimed that he had to sell his private island and let some of his staff go, but when he divorced Jennifer Lopez, he allegedly gave her a $4 million ring. The former beauty queen also added that she was forced to sell her home and move to a small apartment in the San Fernando Valley with her kids.

Due to this nasty child support case, Marc had to file legal documents disclosing his earnings, and the numbers were impressive. According to TMZ, who allegedly got the documents, the salsa singer makes $1.25 million dollars a month and is worth a total of $20.8 million of which $260,000 is in cash. And he doesn’t own any stocks or bonds. He says he's paying $18,000 a month in child support in other relationships, which we assume go to Max and Emme, his twins with JLo.

Marc’s legal docs stated that the amount of money Dayanara claims she’s getting from him is not what he’s currently giving her. He says he gives her $28,416 a month in spousal and child support, and that Dayanara is a poor money manager.
