Apple's "iPhone 6" event is almost here and the anticipation is killing us! Everyone knows the Cupertino-based company will reveal its next-generation iPhone but what else will the company announce? Aside from the two, yes two, larger screen smartphones Apple is expected to preview its "iWatch" along with more hardware and software updates. Check out our top predictions of what Apple will announce below!

The iPhone 6 - The company is expected to announce two new iPhones. Both will have larger screens than the current gen iPhone coming in at 4.7-inches and 5.5-inches. Both will also be a lot slimmer and lighter.

The iWatch - Apple has been on a hiring spree over the last couple of years picking up people who all specialize in wearable products which of course led many to believe the company is working on its first piece of wearable tech. The consensus is Apple will release a smartwatch to compete with companies like Samsung and Motorola who already have wearable tech.

iOS 8 - While this new software was already revealed early this year the company announced that a release date was scheduled for "fall." Well summer is basically over and the event today would be the perfect time to reveal the release date for the software.

OS X Yosemite - The company revealed this software update alongside iOS 8 and said it would come to your Macs this fall.

NFC and Mobile Payments - According to multiple reports Apple is finally ready to incorporate Near Field Communications (NFC) into its products. This will allow data transfers between devices without using the cellular data, Wifi or even Bluetooth. Apple is the only company to not offer this feature while Android, Blackberry and Windows all offer NFC.

The company is also set to make your new iPhone device a mobile payment platform. The company has been said to have made deals with Visa, MasterCard and American Express to help its millions of customers buy more than Apps and Songs from their smartphones.

iPods - It's been almost two years since Apple overhauled its iPod and I think we're due for an upgrade.

Apple TV - This may just be wishful thinking but the company may announce an updated version for Apple TV. An update in 2012 added a faster processor, 1080p video playback and memory. Since then Apple has released a few updates adding more channels but hardware wise we're still using the 2012 model. Time for an upgrade.
