It has been two years since we lost Jenni Rivera after an airplane accident that took her life away along with the rest of the passengers. The singer known as "La Diva De La Banda" was flying into México City for an appearance on "La Voz México" where she was a coach along Paulina Rubio, Beto Cuevas and Miguel Bosé. Hours later, after the jet was reported missing, it was found to have crash landed in Iturbide, Nuevo León. In honor of her legacy the city unveiled a sculpture of Rivera that will forever be remembered. The placard reads: "Not because you are a native of our town. Not because you were important in politics. Simply because you are an example of strength and a great human being." Members of Rivera's family were not able to attend the event, but fans were there supporting.
