Rumors about Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt getting back together never seem to go out of style. While this is indeed possible since both parties have already separated from their spouses, is there really a chance for them to rekindle their romance at this point?

The most recent round of rumors started right after Aniston’s birthday in February. Aniston celebrated her 50th birthday on Feb. 11 at Los Angeles’ Sunset Tower Hotel.

What started the rumors was the inclusion of Pitt in the guest list. “Basically, every single person who Jen loves attended,” an unidentified source told People. “That included Brad. The party was a celebration of Jen’s life.”

Apparently, Jennifer was unsure at first whether or not to invite Brad to her party. “Brad, for long, was a very important part of Jen’s life,” the source revealed. “She debated back and forth with friends if she should invite him. She was very happy that he showed up. Many of his close friends were at the party too.”

Of course, that was enough to start the ball rolling and people started speculating on whether the two might be planning to get back, especially since both have already separated from their previous spouses. Pitt split with Angelina Jolie in 2016, while Aniston separated with Justin Theroux in February 2018.

However, fans who wish for both actors to reunite will be in for a big disappointment. In an official statement made through her publicist, Aniston said that the rumor stating that she is rekindling her romance with Pitt was “a complete fabrication.”

Meanwhile, Pitt also do not plan on getting back with the actress. “Brad is, of course, sad to hear the news about Jen’s divorce,” a source close to the actor told US Magazine. “He only wishes the best for her. However, Brad hasn’t reached out to Jen, and has no plans to do so at this point.”

Pitt and Aniston were married in 2000 and stayed as a couple for 5 years. They later divorced in October 2005.
