The Jurgen Klinsmann experiment is over in the United States.

According to numerous reports, the German-born coach is officially done as head coach of the United States Men’s National team.

Klinsmann has been under hot water over the last year for numerous disappointing losses, many of which occurred against the U.S.’ biggest CONCACAF rival, Mexico. In his last game, Klinsmann coached the U.S. team to an extremely disappointing 4-0 loss against Cost Rica in a 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying game. The U.S. was absolutely annihilated by Lionel Messi and Argentina 4-0 in the Copa America, which was played in the United States last year.

The U.S. was only able to defeat Mexico one time under Klinsmann , a 2015 international friendly.

But it all started in 2014, when Klinsmann stunned the soccer world by leaving veteran Landon Donovan off the 2014 FIFA World Cup roster. From that point on, Klinsmann and U.S. soccer fans have never been on the same page.

Klinsmann has also been criticized many times for his schemes and formations.

Bruce Arena as been named the interim head coach.
