Netflix has changed the way viewers consume television and has made binge watching shows a norm. With Valentine's Day coming up, several Latin stars go back and remember the series that had them hooked. "'24', I think I watched it in 3 days," the star of "Ingobernable," Kate del Castillo, said. "It was fascinating to see what they were starting to do on TV and it was incredible to see it took place in real time." Alfonso Herrera of the series "Sense8" said: "I watched 'The OA' from start to finish, without stopping, with a box of tissues at the end."

From the new series "Altered Carbon," Martha Higareda added: "Stranger Things was the first one I watched completely in one go. I finished at midnight." Spanish star Sergio Mur of "Las Chicas del Cable" and "Papá A Toda Madre" threw it back to the analog days. "Mine was in analog format with the Rocky VHS tapes," he said. "In the living room of my house with my parents watching four movies in a row." "Orange Is The New Black" star Dascha Polanco said: "It lasted for about 6 hours, non-stop. I watched all of Jessica Jones in one single night."

Statistics from Netflix reveal that on average, it takes a new member 12 days to start their first binge, with the majority of users finishing a season in just 3 days. Who doesn’t love a quickie? For users who have been a member for at least a year, 90% have gone all the way and had their First Netflix Binge.

The methodology used with binge being defined as completing at least one season of a show within 7 days of starting. Analysis focused on members who joined in the past five years. All TV series were included except for Kids/Family content and seasons with fewer than 5 episodes. More than 90% of Netflix members who have been a member for at least one year have completed a first binge.

In México "Club De Cuervos" leads as the top first bing series, while in the U.S. it was "Orange Is The New Black. Argentina had "Breaking Bad," Brazil had "Grey's Anatomy," Chile had "Stranger Things," and Colombia and Perú both had "The Walking Dead."
