Ariadne Díaz, Danilo Carrera and Africa Zavala star in "La Doble Vida de Estela Carrillo". Televisa

Televisa is premiering one of its most ambitious musical productions in the coming weeks starring Ariadne Diaz and David Zepeda called "La Doble Vida De Estela Carrillo." The first promo has started airing on Mexican network "Las Estrellas" and shows city views of Los Angeles freeways, Whittier and more. Watch the first preview down below and tell us what you think!

"La Doble Vida de Estela Carrillo" is a project based on a real life story about a teacher that is witness of a shooting and becomes a hero for protecting her students. The telenovela takes the anecdote a step further by adding more elements to it. Estela Carrillo is an immigrant woman in the U.S. that dreams of reaching stardom in the banda world. Her destiny takes her to be a teacher in Riverside, California where she is a witness of a school shooting. Her citizenship status doesn't allow her to receive any recognition as she fears being deported.

The telenovela production also stars Erika Buenfil, Africa Zavala, Danilo Carrera, Adrian Di Monte, Zaide Silva, Lourdes Reyes, Claudia Rios, Alex Perea, Carlos Speitzer, Mike Biaggio, Tania Lizardo, Alejandro Tommassi, Vanessa Bauche and César Evora.

Univision has not announced the official premiere date for "La Doble Vida de Estela Carrillo," but this telenovela was one of the many they announced during their Upfront presentation last year.
