The Lamborghini Museum is now open to everyone with internet access. Thanks to Google Maps, car fans can now tour the incredible museum with just a swipe of an iPad.

According to Lamborghini, the two-story Museo Lamborghini of Sant’Agata Bolognese is the first Italian luxury automaker to offer a virtual indoor tour. The Google Maps technology gives virtual visitors an amazing 360-degree panoramic view of the Lamborghinis on display. Notable examples in the museum include the beautiful Miura, hardcore Countach, the refined Diablo, and the contemporary Murcielago. Special prototypes, limited edition cars, exclusive one-offs, racing icons, and even marine engines are on display as well. Of course, halos Reventon, Sesto Elemento, as well as the Estoque concept are on display at Museo Lamborghini also.

While a real experience among the machines will always beat a virtual tour, Google Maps does offer something that the real tour does not--a POV view from inside some of Lamborghini's greatest creations, including the Reventon and Sesto Elemento. Finally, the museum displays scale models of original styling from Lamborghini’s Centro Stile as well.

The Lamborghini Museum tour on Google Maps is available on any PC or Apple browser that supports Google Map. iOS and Android smartphones and tablets that support the Google Map app will be able to navigate the Lamborghini Museum as well.

Finally, here is our suggestion of making the most out of the virtual Lamborghini experience-- play the YouTube video of this Lamborghini LP570-4 Superleggera lapping Nurburgring as you walk through the rooms of the Lamborghini Museum.
