It seems that CNCO is now ready to take on the international music scene. In a recent interview, members of the Latin boyband revealed some of the music artists they would love to collaborate with, which could pave the way for the group making more bilingual hits and reaching a broader international audience.

In an exclusive interview with Radio.com, CNCO revealed some of the music artists they’d love to collaborate with. These include other boybands such as the Jonas Brothers, Why Don’t We, Backstreet Boys and In Real Life.

The boys also revealed which female music artists they’d love to work with. They named Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Rihanna, Janet Jackson, Mirella Cesa, Kehlani, Tori Kelly and Ella Mai.

Meanwhile, the group expressed their wish to collaborate with some of the well-known Latino artists in the international scene — Daddy Yankee, Jobabe, Rosalia and Anitta.

CNCO is composed of Richard Camacho, Erick Brian Colón, Zabdiel De Jesús, Joel Pimentel and Christopher Vélez. They rose to fame when they joined the first season of “La Banda,” the Spanish-language singing competition created by talent show judge Simon Cowell and Menudo star Ricky Martin.

After winning the first season of “La Banda” in 2015, CNCO also bagged a five-year contract with Sony Music Latin. The following year, they joined Ricky Martin in his “One World Tour,” performing as the show’s opening acts in its Florida, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Hollywood, Chile and Argentina segments.

The band also released their first single in the same year. On Jan. 29, 2016, CNCO released their debut single “Tan Fácil.” It quickly became a hit and topped the U.S. iTunes Latino charts. Their second single, titled “Quisiera,” also became a hit and was ranked 29th in Billboard's Hot Latin Songs.

With their success, a crossover to English-language songs is obviously the next step to international stardom. In fact, the group has already taken steps in that direction with the release of their newest single, the mixed language song “Pretend,” which was released on Feb. 15. With their captivating vocals and good looks, it’s no wonder that the group is now being compared with the popular British boyband One Direction.
