If you're a fan of "Love & Hip Hop" then you know all the drama, plot twist and turns that comes out of a season. Recently, reality star Yandy Smith has been under fire for letting viewers believe that she is in fact married to currently incarcerated cast member Mendeecees Harris. While many people are bashing the star, former Love& Hip Hop alum Erica Mena had quite the mouthful to say about the revelation.
According to Bossip, Erica Mena is sick and tired of her former boss, Love& Hip Hop creator Mona Scott Young for hiding Smith's questionable televised marriage. Stepping into The Shade Room, the reality star blasted Scott-Young for lying on the Wendy Williams show about the marriage.
After leaving the show last year, Mena blasted Yandy after VH1 aired her lavish reality wedding. Erica claimed the reality matrimony-dom was really intended for her and Bow Wow but Mona Scott-Young preferred Yandy over her instead.
While many people have had their opinions about Smith's alleged preferential treatment from Scott-Young, the Bronx firecracker held nothing back as she revealed her true feelinga about the Love & Hip Hop situation.
In an interview with Global Grind, Mena spoke about the fake wedding as well as the preferential treatment Smith has gotten from the show creator.
"No, they came to me for the wedding. The wedding special was ours. And then we turned it down, so Yandy Smith got it…process of elimination. That whole getting married live, having the fans pick the cake, all that stuff… That was my idea,” she said, adding that she turned it down because they didn’t want their wedding to be taken as a joke. “I didn’t want it to be a s**t show. Marriage is a serious thing.”
It looks like Mena is not here for any of the lies and is ready to finally expose the truth!
