Maite Perroni is closing out the year singing the theme song for "The Greatest Showman." The former RBD star had the privilege of covering "This Is Me" in Spanish retitled "Así Soy." Perroni shows her singing chops in the tune that has a huge range of tones. Maite was invited to sing the song during the red carpet event for its release in México last week and even took photos with star Hugh Jackman. A music video to promote the film and song were released this week. Watch the clip below and tell us what you think!

Maite Perroni currently stars on "Papá A Toda Madre" where she plays the characrer of Renée. She works at the Logatoys’ factory assisting the production line’s maintenance. A beautiful, strong, and brave woman, she is about to graduate in Marketing. She is eager to get a robotics MD in the USA. She is Nerón’s goddaughter. She lives with her mother, Cata, who is very ill so Renée must sacrifice her dreams of studying a masters in order to pay for her mother’s health expenses. Love is not in her plans; achieving her professional goals is her top priority until she meets Mauricio and Anifer, who make her see the other side of life.

"Papá A Toda Madre" stars Sebastián Rulli as Mauricio López-Garza, a coveted playboy, owner of the toys emporium Logatoys. In the habit of letting others solve his problems, Mauricio entrusts the company’s management and direction to Fabián, his best friend since childhood. Eventually, Mauricio’s overspend starts ravaging the factory’s finances which leads it on to the verge of bankruptcy. He determines then to put his single’s lifestyle on hold and get married so as to solve his financial problems.

But just as he is in front of the altar about to say “I do”, Anifer, a lovely seven year old girl, interrupts the ceremony unexpectedly, arguing that the groom is “her dad”. Suddenly, Mauricio is now forced to become the responsible parent of a daughter, whom he had never met, and move to a small private road where his neighbors are some former employees he fired himself: Jorge, Toño and Nerón.this way, four parents from different generations and sociocultural backgrounds will be confronted with an unknown aspect of paternity thanks to a compulsory exchange of roles with their children’s mothers.
