People have been pitting Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle against each other and created the Team Meghan vs Team Kate drama on social media. Yet what fans might not know is that the Duchess of Sussex’s entry into the royal family may have positively influenced the Duchess of Cambridge.

Observers say that since Meghan married Prince Harry last year, Kate has reinvented herself and now exudes more confidence in her public engagements. Experts are now speculating that Kate’s positive change might have something to do with her American sister-in-law.

It’s evident in Kate’s body language according to an expert. “I find Kate interesting because she doesn’t put a foot wrong,” body language expert Judi James opined on the “Pod Save The Queen” podcast. “Her body language is pitch perfect as a royal. I think that’s what she’s very good at.”

In addition, the body language expert said that Kate’s confidence has skyrocketed. “I noticed recently her confidence levels do seem to be increasing,” James added. “I think she’s taking a different role in the Royal Family generally.”

And Kate might have to thank Meghan for this positive change. “I think, with Meghan coming into the Royal Family, she’s no longer the newbie,” the expert further explained. “She was the one that wasn’t royal that married into the Royal Family and now Meghan’s done the same thing and Meghan is the newbie. I think that’s perhaps elevated Kate’s confidence levels a bit.”

Kate and Meghan have been ceaselessly compared by fans since the former’s entry into the royal family. It seems to have started as a who-wore-it-best type of comparison where fans compare both royals’ fashion style. However, it evolved into something nastier, and one can be the butt of abusive comments on social media from both Team Kate and Team Meghan camps.

Of course, the royal family dismissed rumors of an ongoing feud between the two duchesses. While they might not be enemies, James believes that Meghan and Kate can’t also become best of friends based on body language. “They’re probably never going to be the best of friends and their body language tends to suggest that,” the expert explained.
