The LGBT community’s fight for tolerance, respect, love and acceptance continues all over the world.

Earlier this month, Mexican soccer players Bianca Sierra and Stephany Mayor decided to make their relationship public on social media.

“My world,” Sierra captioned a photo of the two of them displaying their love by a river somewhere in Europe.

Immediately after, the 23-year-old footballer began receiving hateful comments and posts from macho men, who refuse to conceive the idea of two women being together.

“Your clitoris should be mutilated,” wrote Twitter user Sadey Bolton. “You are an embarrassment to this country, degenerated lesbians.”

User El Mil Máscaras added, “Gross lesbians embarrassing Mexico’s name.”

And it did not stop there. Antiheroe honored his screen name by posting, “Lesbians f*ing disgust me, we would’ve burnt them already in my hood.”

Fans who took notice of the horrific reactions the couple was receiving decided to jump in and shower the girls with some love to put an end to all the hate.

“You guys are the best!” said TriFemenilMX. “We are proud of you being Mexican”

Ady Iar expressed, “I am happy to see you two together. I’m always with you, I admire you, and you are great people and great athletes.”

“You ladies are beautiful and courageous for expressing your love,” mentioned Maria Mentado. “Ignorant asswipes that can’t accept it are garbage.”

On June 12, a gunman, identified as Omar Mateen, walked into a gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla., to purposely end the lives of innocent members of the community. There were 49 lives lost in what is considered the worst massacre in the history of the United States.

“The tragedy that occurred in Orlando hurts me in so many ways,” penned Ricky Martin in an open letter. “It hurts me as a man, as a human being, and as a gay person, because so many of the victims were brothers and sisters of the LGBT community. I am in pain, I am sad, I am angry.”

Will the hate ever stop?
