Miguel Bosé is set to be honored at the 2013 Latin Grammy Awards as the Latin Recording Academy Person of The Year. The Spanish singer is a legend in the music world and is also known for his philanthropic work. Bosé will receive the award at a star-studded tribute concert set to take place Wednesday, November 10 at the Mandala Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Performers honoring Miguel Bosé as the Person of the Year include Pablo Alborán, Juan Campodonico, Santiago Cruz, Alex Cuba, Gian Marco, Jesse & Joy, Juanes, Illya Kuryaki, Natalia Lafourcade, Ricky Martin, Laura Pausini, Draco Rosa, Carlos Santana, Alejandro Sanz, Ximena Sariñana, Julieta Venegas and Carlos Vives. With a career that spans over 30 years and more than 30 abums, the Academy has truly found a great artist for this award. He is the son of Italian actress Lucia Bosé and bullfighter Luis Miguel Dominguín. ( 2 ) His family was close friends with artist Pablo Picasso and Ernest Hemingway. Picasso is his sister's godfather. ( 3 ) We know him primarily as a vocalist, but Bosé started off as an actor in 1971 until 1975 when he dediced to have a change in career.
