Nayel Nassar: Five Facts About The Guy Who's About To Marry Bill Gates' Daughter

Bill Gates’ eldest daughter, Jennifer Gates is now engaged to her Egyptian boyfriend Nayel Nassar. The couple announced their engagement on Jan. 29 through social media.

“SHE SAID YES!! I’m feeling like the luckiest (and happiest) man in the world right about now,” Nassar’s post reads. “Jenn, you are everything I could have possibly imagined..and so much more. I can’t wait to keep growing together through this journey called life, and I simply can’t imagine mine without you anymore.”

Together with his statement, Nassar also posted a picture of his proposal where Jennifer Gates was visibly thrilled and happy. It appears that he proposed during a ski trip together.

In response to Nassar’s announcement on Instagram, Bill Gate’s daughter also expressed her excitement on the prospect of spending her life forever with her fiance. “Absolutely swept me off my feet this past weekend, surprising me in the most meaningful location over one of our many shared passions,” Jennifer Gates wrote. “I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives learning, growing, laughing and loving together.”

The two started dating in 2017 and they are both members of the Paris Panthers. Now, since not many people know who Nassar is, here are five facts about Bill Gate’s future son-in-law:

1. According to his profile on Instagram, Nayel Nassar is an Egyptian show jumper. He is an equestrian that is associated with horse-riding related companies including CWD Sellier, Cavalleria Toscana, Kentucky Horsewear, Ogilvy Equestrian, Parlanti and GPA Safety Legend. He is a professional horserider who will be representing Egypt in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

2. As per People, he was born in the U.S. to millionaire parents who are involved in architecture and design business. But then again, he grew up in Kuwait since his family set up their company there.

3. His parents brought him his very first horse when he was only 10-years-old.

4. Nayel Nassar returned to the U.S. in 2009 for college and graduated at Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree in economics in 2013. Jennifer Gates also studied in this university from 2014 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology in 2018.
