No reason was specified for Omar's firing, but the host seemed to have been doing well after today's show as he tweeted pictures with his co-hosts Rashel Díaz, Daniel Sarcos, Azucena Cierco and Adamari Lopez.

In a recent profile interview with Germenos on LatinTimes.com, he had stated he felt comfortable living in Miami and had his mind set in living in the city for the next couple of years.

"I feel fine and comfortable in Miami for at least the next, at least, five years. Normally, in this industry, the whole family travels when they give you work. We don't want to do that as we have the mindset to stay in one place for many years. So, we were testing Miami for the past three years and we've decided we would like to stay for at least five more years."
