Oprah Winfrey has become a clear favorite to run in 2020 U.S. presidency election after her epic Golden Globes 2018 speech. The former talk show host has been coy about running for president and has denied making a bid for the White House previously. After her speech at the Hollywood award show people responded positively and we couldn't count her out.

Donald Trump was recently asked about Oprah running against him in 2020 and as smug as he always is said that he would beat her. “Oprah would be a lot of fun,” he said later. “I know her very well. You know, I did one of her last shows. She had Donald Trump — this was before politics — her last week, and she had Donald Trump and my family. It was very nice.” He added, “No, I like Oprah. I don’t think she’s going to run… I know her very well.”

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders also had her take an an Oprah run. “Look, I disagree very much with her policies,” she replied. “Is she a successful individual? Absolutely, but in terms with where she stands on a number of positions, I would find a lot of problems with that,” the administration spokeswoman declared. “But that is something she would have to determine and lay out if she made a decision to run and what that campaign would look like.”

Oprah's BFF Gayle King denies that the queen of media would make a presidential run. “I absolutely don’t think her position has changed,” King said on “CBS This Morning.” “I was up talking to her late last night. I do think she was intrigued by the idea. I do think that. I also know that after years of watching the ‘Oprah show,’ you always have the right to change your mind. I don’t think at this point she is actually considering it.” She also added: "She loves this country and would like to be in service in some way, but I don’t think she is actively considering it.”

In acceptance of the Cecil B. DeMille award at the Golden Globes, Oprah delivered a speech that moved viewers. "I want, tonight, to express gratitude to all the women who have endured years of abuse and assault because, like my mother, they had bills to pay and dreams to pursue," Winfrey said recalling the story of Recy Taylor. "I want all the girls watching here now to know that a new day is on the horizon!" she added. "And when that new day finally dawns, it will be because of a lot of magnificent women, many of whom are here tonight, and some pretty phenomenal men, fighting hard to make sure that they become the leaders who take us to the time when nobody has to say, 'Me too,' again!"
