Brad Pitt once against slams his marriage to Jennifer Aniston. The former Hollywood power couple have been divorced for 8 years and Pitt still finds the need to slam his former marriage.

In an interview with Esquire Magazine Pitt talked about how unhappy he was 10-years ago, the same time frame when he was married to Jennifer Aniston. Pitt slams his marriage to Aniston saying he was becoming a burn out from not leading an interesting life. Pitt describes sitting on the couch smoking pot and waiting for something exciting to happen.

"I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic," Pitt said to Esquire.

"I was a bit of a drifter. A guy who felt he grew up in something of a vacuum and wanted to see things, wanted to be inspired. I followed that other thing," Pitt says to Esquire Magazine. "I spent years f**king off. But when I got burnt out and felt that I was wasting my opportunity. It was a conscience change. This was about a decade ago. It was an epiphany."

This is not the first time Brad Pitt publically slams his marriage to Aniston. In a 2011 interview with Parade Magazine Pitt blamed Aniston for making his life boring.

"It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage [to actress Jennifer Aniston] had something to do with it."

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston met in 1998, married in 2000 and divorced in 2005. Rumors as to the cause of the split blame Pitt's "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" costar and now fiancé Angelina Jolie.

In a joint statement released to People Magazine Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston officially announced their separation back in 2005 saying that the decision to separate came after a lot of though and that the pair remained "committed and caring friends."

Seems Brad Pitt should re-read his own words before he slams Aniston and their marriage again.

Aniston only opened up about her split from Brad Pitt once in an interview with Vanity Fair. During her interview Aniston explained that she felt sad, and hurt and upset but also did not blame Jolie for her marriage ending. Aniston said,

"It's just complicated. There are all these levels of growth and when you stop growing together, that's when the problems happen."

After it came out that Pitt once again slammed his marriage to Aniston he released a statement to E! Online saying he met no offense to Aniston and was not calling her dull. He says he was trying to take responsibility for his actions and not cast blame on,

"An incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman, who remains my friend. It is an important relationship that I value greatly."

Jennifer Aniston is now engaged to actor Justin Theroux and Brad Pitt has six children with his soon to be wife Angelina Jolie.
