Univision is ready to kick off with the hottest Latino artists at Premio Lo Nuestro 2017. The award show has stars like Romeo Santos, Ricky Martin, Lucero, Thalía, CNCO and more set to take the stage to perform. Live from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida, it is going to be an explosive night that audiences will not want to miss. Live streaming of the event will be provided by UnivisionNOW service, but a subscription is needed. Premio Lo Nuestro 2017 airs on Thursday, February 23 starting at 8pm ET/PT.
One of the highlights of the night will be when Romeo Santos receive the Premio Lo Nuestro a la Excelencia award for his extraordinary musical career. Santos will then premiere his new single called "Héroe Favorito." Another special accolade will be given to Lili Estefan, co-host of "El Gordo y La Flaca," for over 30 years of success in the television industry.
Also confirmed for Premio Lo Nuestro 2017 are: Jesse & Joy, Gente de Zona, Wisiín, Tito El Bambino, Ricardo Montaner, Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizárraga, CNCO, De La Ghetto, J Balvin, Juanes, Julión Álvarez, Luis Coronel, Prince Royce, Reik, Thalía and Carlos Vives.
The top award of the night is Artist Of The Year with the following acts nominated: Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizárraga, Enrique Iglesias, J Balvin and Romeo Santos. For Single Of The Year these are the songs vying for the award: "Duele El Corazón" (Enrique Iglesias feat. Wisín), "Hasta El Amanecer" (Nicky Jam), "La Bicicleta" (Carlos Vives and Shakira) and "Solo Con Verte" (Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizárraga).
In the Female Artist Of The Year these are the ladies competing for the honor: Chiquis Rivera, India, Karol G and Sofía Reyes. In the Male Artist Of The Year these are the guys fighting for the award: Enrique Iglesias, J Balvin, Julión Álvarez and Romeo Santos.
