Univision's Premios Juventud 2017 will include an unprecedented special performance of Shakira with Coldplay from the Global Citizen Festival in Hamburg, Germany. The Premios Juventud 14th edition will support the call for economic justice bringing a social action message to viewers in the United States. The Colombian superstar and the British rock band will perform together for the first time at the Global Citizen Festival in front of a crowd of 12,000 people who share the goal of ending extreme poverty by 2030.

The theme for this edition of PJ is "Betting on the Future," expanding its focus to include social causes that have a direct impact on Hispanic communities by adding the "Agentes de Cambio" (Agents of Change) awards category, inspired by artists and presenters who have become energetic spokespersons for various causes. Six Hispanics under 30 years of age with significant achievements throughout the country will receive a special recognition on stage for their grassroots efforts in favor of the environment, education and social inclusion.
