It looks like the joke is on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and his advocate former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. It is being reported that Giuliani’s daughter, Caroline, who we all thought would be supporting Trump actually switched sides and is endorsing Democratic nominee Hilary Clinton.

According to Complex, the media started buzzing as a Facebook page with Caroline’s name on it began posting pro-Clinton images in September. The image included a blue manicure with the words “WHO RUN THE WORLD” and a depiction of Clinton in a pantsuit.

While most people may say that this is just a rumor, it is proven to be true. Politico contacted Giuliani and confirmed that the page does belong to her. Carline is without a doubt endorsing Clinton for this upcoming election.

"I love Hillary, I think she's by far the most qualified candidate that we've had in a long while," she told Politico. "My dad knows. I was for Barack in 2012. He knows and is fully comfortable with it and thinks I have a right to my opinion." She declined to comment about her father's support for Trump.

There is also another Facebook post on Caroline’s page that features a Huffington Post article called “I Wrote That I Despised Hilary Clinton. Today, I Want To Publicly Take It Back” with a caption that reads she’s “been pro-Hilary all along.” She also says in the post that those who swallow their ego and switch from endorsing Trump to endorsing Clinton “ are the ones with the power to save our country at this point.”

While her father Rudy has yet to publicly speak out about his daughter jumping ship, we can imagine that things are extremely tense between the two right now.

Clinton has yet to respond to Caroline’s new found support but we can imagine as the election draws close she’s thrilled.

As you can imagine social media is having a field day.
