Princess Diana Wore More Makeup, Smiled Less 2 Years After Prince William’s Birth

Princess Diana’s appearance seemed to change after the birth of her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. A photo of the late royal was uploaded side by side on social media.

In the first photo, Princess Diana is smiling from ear to ear while cradling Prince William in her arms. Her blonde hair is made up, and she has little to no make-up on her face. Princess Diana is also dressed in a yellow gold dress, which she paired with her pearl necklace. Prince William, who is presumably just a couple of months old, is looking straight into the camera. He is also wearing a long-sleeved christening attire.

In the second picture, Princess Diana’s hair appears to have more volume, but it’s also less blonde. She is still looking straight into the camera, but she’s no longer smiling from ear to ear. Princess Diana is also wearing a white long-sleeved dress with a Chinese collar, and Prince Harry is wrapped in a white oversized cloth.

After seeing the photo, one royal fan commented how much Princess Diana’s look changed within just a span of two years. The Instagram user also said that she’s wondering what Princess Diana would look like now if she were still alive.

“Still love, fun yet graceful,” the fan wrote. “I’m sure but I bet she’d be just as active with her grandkids as she was with her boys,” the fan added.

This week, the same royal fanmade account uploaded a throwback photo of the Princess of Wales wearing a navy blue polka-dotted dress with a ribbon around the chest. The dress she wore is quite similar to the one Kate Middleton used during her visit to Bletchley Park.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a polka-dotted dress of the same color. But her attire featured buttons from the neck down to her waist. Kate’s dress is also more body hugging compared with Princess Diana’s outfit.
