While Selena Gomez has been easing back into the Hollywood spotlight, fans have been waiting in agony to see when she will be hitting the studio. After we recently reported that Gomez and Lady Gaga are planning on working together, it has been confirmed that the Mexican-American singer is back in the studio- and Nick Jonas is elated!
According to E! News, Gomez was spotted in the studio with songwriter Justin Tranter who posted a picture on Instagram. In the photo, Gomez is spotted putting on eyeliner in a studio, feedng talks of Gomez making her return to music.
"Music and love," Tranter captioned the picture.
The site reports that while the photo was enough to cause a stir on social media, fans have been going crazy along with an unexpected viewer- Nick Jonas. Jonas who is the ex-boyfriend to the singer showcased his excitement for new music commenting with the praise emoji. Since the public comment, fans have been speculating whether or not Jonas may be appearing on the new album.
Gomez heading back to the studio is amazing news as the singer took some much needed time off to get into a positive place, physically, emotionally and mentally. After sharing the news that she will be taking time off to tend to complications of her lupus diagnosis, Gomez tucked herself away in a Tennessee rehab facility.
Sincer her release, the singer has vowed to live her life positively and get rid of toxic people from her life, sorry Justin Bieber! Gomez made her first appearance at the 2016 American Music Awards where she moved the audience with an inspirational speech.
The sky is definitely the limit for the singer and we are so excited that she is back in the studio!
