Sofia Vergara has responded to Star magazine cover implying her marriage is over because the Latin actress cheated on her husband, Joe Manganiello, while in Rome. The “Modern Family” star posted a photo of the cover on her Instagram condemning the editor-in-chief of the publication and calling out the fake news story couldn’t end her marriage, as it was exposed on USA Today.

“The editor of this magazine is an idiot -if he is going to have my ring removed to created [sic] a 'fake news' he should have made sure that he removed from social media all the other pictures of that award night in Rome where I’m wearing it,” the actress started.

Sofia was actually in Rome filming a new movie called Bent, so she cleared up the guy used to create the rumors is the film director, not a lover.

“By the way...that’s my friend the producer of the movie 'Bent' that I was shooting in Rome and who came to spend Easter at my home the week later,” she continued and hashtagged "Starmagazinebullies" and "goinventsh*itaboutyourmother."

Manganiello also expressed his opinion about the article and said: "Star created a fake story...in order to sell magazines," as exposed on Fox News.

Sofia has been victim of plenty of rumors during the last year, especially because of her embryos status after her former fiancé Nick Loeb sued her asking for the embryos custody.

Sofia and Joe met in 2014 Summer and engaged six months later. They got married in November 2015 in Palm Beach, Florida.
