Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are having a hard time at the Super Bowl 2017 against the Atlanta Falcons. Half time could not get there soon enough to have all the players rest. Super Bowl LI is the second Super Bowl game held at the NRG Stadium, with the last time being in 2004, when the Patriots won over the Carolina Panthers. For Houston it was also the third time the championship game was held in the city, having previously been held at Rice Stadium in 1974 when the Miami Dolphins bested the Minnesota Vikings.

With Super Bowl 2017, the New England Patriots continued with a historical ninth appearance in the game, the most of any time. The Falcons are making their second appearance as a franchise and will have the chance to win their first Super Bowl, having lost in their only previous Super Bowl appearance in Super Bowl XXXIII.
