As a seasoned statesman, Queen Elizabeth II is the perfect image of decorum and propriety that one might expect her to be unperturbed under all circumstances. However, she’s just as human as the rest of her fans, and there are really times that even a dignified monarch such as herself can’t help but get angry.

At Sarah Ferguson

Prince Andrew, Queen Elizabeth’s third child, married Sarah Ferguson in 1986. Her Majesty’s relationship with her new daughter-in-law started on the right note, especially since both share a similar sense of humor.

However, friction between the two started when Prince Andrew and Sarah announced their separation. “The announcement made it plain that she initiated the separation,” the 2019 documentary “Royals At War” reported. “As the day went on it became clear the Queen was not only saddened by the break-up of the marriage, she was also angry at the way the Duchess handled the issue.”

But things got worse five months later when the press published photos of Texan millionaire John Bryan, together with Sarah, who was still living at Balmoral at that time. The scandalous photo, which was taken at the duchess’ holiday villa in St Tropez, showed the American sucking the duchess’ toes.

The entire royal family, including the Queen, was shocked and angered. It would take more than a decade before her relationship with Her Majesty was patched up in 2013.

At Kate Middleton

Queen Elizabeth II was reportedly furious when Kate Middleton’s topless photo surfaced. Back in 2012, a paparazzo was able to snap photos when the Duchess of Cambridge was sunbathing during a vacation in the south of France with Prince William.

While Kate Middleton is definitely one of the most fashionable royals that fans follow for her style, the Queen is reportedly not impressed with a few of Kate’s fashion choices. For instance, the duchess’ preference for wearing short dresses led to wardrobe malfunctions in the past, especially in windy settings.

At A Scene From “The Crown”

Queen Elizabeth II is said to be a fan of Netflix’s TV series “The Crown.” However, there is one particular scene that irked her most. In the film, Prince Philip was portrayed as unsympathetic to his son Prince Charles even when he was being bullied at his Scottish school.

“The Queen realises that many who watch The Crown take it as an accurate portrayal of the Royal Family and she cannot change that,” an insider told Express. “But I can convey that she was upset by the way Prince Philip is depicted as being a father insensitive to his son’s wellbeing. She was particularly annoyed at a scene in which Philip has no sympathy for a plainly upset Charles while he is flying him home from Scotland. That simply did not happen.”

At Prince William And Peter Phillips

Even her grandchildren have witnessed how angry their grandmother can be if they misbehave. Prince William recalled a childhood incident when he was playing with cousins Zara and Peter and they received a royal scolding for a little accident.

“We were chasing Zara around who was on a go-cart, and Peter and I managed to herd Zara into a lamppost,” Prince William narrated. “And the lamppost came down and nearly squashed her, and I remember my grandmother being the first person out at Balmoral running across the lawn in her kilt. (She) came charging over and gave us the most almighty bollocking, and that sort of stuck in my mind from that moment on.”
