Televisa is working on its new telenovela production called "Vino El Amor." Producer, José Alberto "El Güero" Castro, has confirmed that Gabriel Soto and Irina Baeva will be the leading couple. Castro had been scouting locations in the San Francisco area for this remake of Chilean series "La Chúcara." The main storyline takes place in a winery and Napa Valley is the place where shooting will take place soon. Other cities where "Vino El Amor" will film are Tijuana, Baja California in México and the City of México. "Vino El Amor" does not have an air date as of yet, but it is expected to start sometime this year.

"Vino El Amor" will be featuring the majestic vineyards of Napa Valley, California, and bring to light the life of Mexican-Americans seeking not only the American Dream but also success with family and love. Vicente is depressed after having lost his wife in a seemingly provoked accident, so much that he begins to neglect his children and the vineyard he loves so much. His mother-in-law and supposed best friend try to take advantage of the situation to take Vicente's fortune, but their plans are disrupted by an unexpected arrival. Laura, a cheerful and spontaneous young woman who grew up on the vineyard with her father many years ago, returns to turn Vicente's life upside down. Through their love-hate relationship, Laura breathes new life into Vicente and rekindles his love for life and for his Napa Valley vineyard.

Irina Baeva was last seen on "Pasión y Poder" where she played one of the villains. She was a breakout star in the telenovela and "El Güero" has given her the opportunity of a lifetime. Gabriel Soto was last seen in a special guest-starring role on "Antes Muerta Que Lichita." He played the love interest of Lichita, the one she was about to get married to, but ended up getting cold feet in the end. Previous to that Soto starred in "Yo No Creo En Los Hombres."

On "Yo No Creo En Los Hombres," Soto gave life to Maximiliano, a good-looking man that learned from his father how to be strict, enterprising and maturity; from his mother he learned how to be tender, loving and sensitive. He is an outstanding attorney and he is Maleny´s boyfriend, who will lead him to the edge of sadness and desperation when he discovers she has been cheating on him. But when he meets Maria Dolores, he is captivated by her beauty and overtime he will realize that she is in fact the love of his life.
