Wife Learns Husband Of 10 Months Was A Woman After Her Mother Asked 'Him' To Strip Naked

An Indonesian wife found out her husband of 10 months was actually a woman after her meddling mother forced ‘him’ to strip naked.

The 22-year-old woman — identified only by the initials NA — she had no clue that her husband was a female — despite the fact they frequently “had sex.”

She has now pressed charges against her fraudster spouse.

“I’m still scared. I’m shaking when I go out,” NA said, Tribun News reported.

NA said she first met her spouse, who went by the name Ahnaf Arrafif, on the dating app Tantan last year.

Arrafif purportedly claimed to be a doctor who graduated from New York, and the two met in person in May 2021. They got married in Kenali Asam Bawah, Jambi, on July 18, last year, according to reports.

It was a 'secret wedding' known as the nikah siri arrangement, which refers to unregistered marriages in the country, recognised by religion but not by law.

The couple opted this route because the groom couldn't produce the civil documents required for a legal wedding.

"I knew he was a specialist in neurosurgery, a doctor and coal entrepreneur and graduated from abroad, New York. But, I've checked for his status, but it's not on the list," NA continued.

NA admitted to having physical relationship with her spouse and believed they had engaged in penetrative intercourse, which was mostly “in a state of blackout.”

She recalled that Arrafif had asked her “not to look directly” at his genitals, adding that he had covered her eyes with a cloth whenever they made love.

NA also alleged that Arrafif would only get naked after turning the lights off.

NA said her mother was initially charmed by Arrafif, but soon became suspicious after she learned he did not actually have a job.

He began living with NA and her mother, and promptly began asking for money. NA claims Arrafif conned her and her family out of thousands.

In the ensuing months, NA’s mother became more and more convinced that Arrafif was a fraudster and so tried to obtain his identification documents.

In April this year, NA’s mother finally confronted Arrafif and ordered him to strip naked. At that point., Arrafif is said to have admitted to being a woman and revealed her true identity.

She was actually named Erayani Arrafif.

NA and her mother contacted the police, and Arrafif was arrested and has reportedly been charged with fraud.

During interrogation, Arrafif told the investigators that he had used his fingers to trick NA into believing she was having penetrative sex.
