William Levy has been away from telenovelas with his last one being "La Tempestad," which he starred opposite Ximena Navarrete. In that production Levy played a character called Damián. He was the captain and owner of a fishing boat called “La Tempestad”. He was a handsome, brave and daring man; that confronted several problems, but the love he felt for Marina is the one thing that pushed him to leave from the town he was born. After reaching the bottom, he met Magdalena, Marina’s twin sister, who also falls in love with him; but to Damian there is not such a sacred thing as the love he feels for Marina, and he will do anything to protect it.

The Cuban actor has been focused in movie projects like "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" where he co-starred opposite Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter in the saga of "Resident Evil." Before that he guest-starred in shows like "Single Ladies" and had credits in movies like "Term Life," "The Veil" and "Change Of Heart."

Recently, Levy was outed by Jacqueline Bracamontes in her memoir "La Pasarela de Mi Vida." In the book, the actress revealed that she and William had a fling during the production of the telenovela "Sortilegio." "He had told me, 'I am not with my wife,' that is why we were going out, to see where it went," she said during an interview with "Primer Impacto."

Bracamontes and Levy were shooting the telenovela "Sortilegio" and shared many steamy scenes during the production. It was obvious that there was an attraction between the two, but the relationship came to a screeching hault when Levy revealed that his wife Elizabeth Gutiérrez was pregnant. "What he told me that day saved me from a situation that was not for me," she said. Jacqueline also expressed she had doubts about dating William because he already had a child with Gutiérrez.

On "Sortilegio," William Levy gave life to Alejandro Lombardo, an intelligent and well educated, brave and daring man. He was raised by his father, his step-mother and her two children, not knowing that they are his half-brother and sister. He and Bruno do not get along and, when Alejandro inherits the family business, their relationship becomes even more strained. He is suspicious by nature and doesn’t take long to discover that Maria Jose is not his wife, but they fall in love and she tells him that Bruno tried to have him murdered.
