Following William Valdés' shocking exit from Univision and "Despierta América," the social media master was absent from all of his accounts most likely processing the news. After days of silence he posted a statement, but no selfies as he usually did, until recent hours. Valdés looks to be regaining his online presence as he copes with his firing and has teased his followers on his upcoming plans.

William Valdes shared news of his travels. He first posted a pic of himself at the airport, a photo that his mom took, according to his post. "3 flights, 2 suitcases, 23 hours of flight, when I arrive I am going to have serious jet lag, yes I am leaving by myself, there is no fear here," he wrote.

When he arrived to his destination he shared another picture, but this time shirtless. Valdés traveled to Wellington, New Zealand and shared exciting news with his followers: "After more than 20 hours of flight I have arrived. Ready to explore New Zealand and I already want to tell you why I am here. It has something to do with 'War For The Planet Of The Aples' (God is good)."

William Valdés also went live on his Facebook page to talk directly with his fans. "Thank you for are your kind messages," he started off saying. "You know it's a tough moment in my life, but everything is good, we continue to be connected through social media."

He also added: "For those that miss me, don't miss me because we are still here connected through social media and I will continue to be active. Don't miss me too much because there are a lot of surprises coming, I am grateful for all of your support. We will continue moving forward and thanks to all of you I am where I am."

The real reason for William Valdés' exit from the Spanish-language network and the morning show are not known. Following his axing, the Cuban celebrity shared a brief statement on his social networks. "To all my followers and general public, I want to thank you for your messages, your calls, but above all your time, that time that has made us into a great family," he wrote. "With you I have grown, shared moments of happiness, sadness, lived dreams that have come a reality, but above all to learn to assimilate that the show must go on."

Earlier this year William Valdés broke down to tears on-air after he was confronted for a post on Instagram that showed he was not entirely happy as it seems. He did not disclose why he was feeling down, but his tears gave a lot away.

"Good morning, I am going to be very honest in this post. I am always showing the best of my life, my vacation, my outfits, my friends, my family, part of my job," he wrote on Instagram. "I have never showed my weak side, probably because I am the type of person that doesn't like to come off as weak or sad. Today I woke up sad, today I woke up without wanting to do something. I can't talk about the reason now, but I don't want to be the superficial person that I feel I am sometimes. I want to be me, and I think you are an important part of me. Today, I am sad. Today I am human, not a celebrity that has to fake his feelings. TODAY I AM ME."

"I thank Univision for this great opportunity for you to get to know me and that together will search for new and greater opportunities. I will soon tell you about my next project and I can hopefully count with your support." Valdés ended the statement with a heart emoji and the hashtag "never give up."
