Mexican rapper George Ramirez, better known by his stage name Kap G, is helping AXE spread the word on how to spray responsibly. According to research, 64% of young guys think body spray and antiperspirant dry sprays are the same thing, but they're not!
Body spray is a daily fragrance that should be used responsibly to help keep the air clear. There's no need to blast the whole can at once. AXE suggests to simply "throw a 7 on it," meaning a quick spray in the shape of a "7" across your chest and stomach for as long as it takes to say the word "AXE" (and not "AAAAAAAAXE").
And a dry spray, officially known as "AXE Antiperspirant Dry Spray," goes under your armpits to keep you dry for up to 48 hours. Use it just like you would an antiperspirant stick. It's your personal fullback blocking the sweat before it reaches the skin.
Kap G told Latin Times that he would love to have his own AXE collection, and it could be named "G5" and would be designed with colorful graffiti.
"Being on tour is one of the most exciting things I get to do as an artist, because I work hard to play hard," wrote the rapper on his Instagram account. Each city brings its own experience, so having a strong team helps me to not leave my most important needs in the air."
Kap G said he partnered with AXE, because they help him to stay fresh while he is on the road meeting his fans.
"From stressing over exams to sweating in gym class, AXE knows young guys need a little help to stay fresh and dry," said Dawn Hedgepeth, Senior Director of U.S. Deodorants & Male Grooming, Unilever.
