Eiza Gonzalez is an up-and-coming Hollywood actress who came into the spotlight after being spotted with Liam Hemsworth in Las Vegas shortly after news broke of him and Miley Cyrus calling off their engagement. Gonzalez who left her native country of Mexico to realize her Hollywood dreams, was a rising star, making her debut acting debut in 2007 with "Lola, Erase Una Vez" ("Lola, Once Upon A Time"). She was handpicked by "Rebelde" producer Pedro Damián out of hundreds of girls who auditioned for the lead role. Off the bat she was the main character in a telenovela and had the task of recording to musical albums that would also double as a soundtrack to the show. Eiza's last telenovela in Mexico ended earlier this year and it was titled "Amores Verdaderos." The soap was the top rated program nightly in all of Mexico, where she played the bratty and stubborn "Nikki Brizz," who suffered from anorexia and bulimia. Not only that, but only a couple of days after her establishing herself in Los Angeles, she had already grabbed all the headlines from every magazine and internet site. Her meet-up with Hemsworth caused worldwide sensation and put Eiza on the map. 5. Well Connected: Eiza is no ordinary starlet, she has some good connections in the business, or a really good agent. During the whole Liam scandal, she was able to score her first Hollywood leading role. How did that happen so fast?
