Former University of Florida standout and NFL Pro Bowler Aaron Hernandez has remained a hot topic of discussion even after his professional playing days came to an end following a serious arrest. The 24-year-old native of Bristol, Connecticut was arrested for his connection in the murder of former semiprofessional football player Odin Lloyd on June 26 and cut by the New England Patriots a short time after. Charged with first-degree murder later that day along with drawing five gun-related charges, Hernandez is now facing life in prison without the possibility of parole if he is convicted.
Though life as a highly respected athlete is in the rearview mirror, the 2011 Pro Bowl tight end is apparently not shy about communicating with his fans outside prison walls. Even though many would find it hard to enjoy anything about being behind bars - especially when you're facing life in prison thanks to a murder charge - Hernandez is making the most of his jail time by letting his cellmates become involved with various female pen pals that have been writing him since he began his term at the Bristol County jail.
According to multiple sources, Aaron Hernandez has taken on the role of matchmaker, with the former NFL star letting his prison mates respond to fan mail from his female followers. While these women are writing letters with the hopes of receiving a response from Hernandez himself, TMZ Sports indicated recently that two of Hernandez's roommates responded back to two separate individuals. The responses included information such as birthdate, age, height, weight and other physical details. One of the men, Ronnie, even let the recipient of his letter know what he was being held in prison for.

Another friend of Hernandez, John, wrote a separate female to let her know that he's 21-years-old, 6'2" and 180 pounds with an October 2 birthday. John also noted that he currently has curly hair but "rock's a number 2 with a tape up on the street."
Still awaiting his fate behind prison bars, Aaron Hernandez is certainly facing an uphill battle, but that hasn't stopped him from trying to please his female fans, even if he is letting others write these letters.
