Yesterday Amazon made a huge announcement that is a game changer for TV and streaming media everywhere! The company announced its first streaming TV set-top box that also works as a gaming console. The Amazon Fire TV is an incredibly compact, streaming video powerhouse that has not only a wide array of streaming content but game titles from well-known developers and publishers.
While the all-in-one device is pretty impressive with services, the internals of the Fire TV are just as impressive. The device is equipped with a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and a dedicated graphics card. Video and audio will come to you in 1080p with Dolby Digital Plus Surround Sound via HDMI and optical-out ports.

1. The gaming aspect is really exciting, there are gaming consoles with streaming features but not an all in one system. Amazon Fire TV is expected to launch thousands of games next month including “Minecraft,” “The Walking Dead,” “NBA 2K14” and much more!
2. Not only does Fire TV support video streaming services like Amazon Prime Instant Video, Netflix, Hulu Plus and WatchESPN. But there is also a music option with services including: Pandora, iHeartRadio and your Amazon library will be available on Fire TV.
3. Amazon utilizes its Cloud Drive app to let users have a photo sharing feature as well. You will be able to view photos taken with your smartphone on the Fire TV device.
4. The price for Amazon Fire TV! You get all these features, games and video streaming options for only $99.99 and the Fire TV controller is $39.99. Not a bad deal for an all-in-one system.
