"Ana y Los 7," the hit Spanish series broadcasted by TVE, will be adapted by Mexico's Televisa in 2014. Juan Osorio, producer of hits like "Una Familia Con Suerte" and "Porque El Amor Manda," will helm the production that is set to start filming in March 2014. "It is a telenovela where I am betting on the sensibility there is about the love of a mother that does not birth her children, but can give them that affection and love," Osorio told Produ.com "These kids are orphans and Ana takes care of them and is able to gain their trust, love and guide them through life."

"Ana y Los Siete" consisted of 91 episodes that were aired over five seasons starting in 2002 and ending in 2005. The series has been one of the most successful in the history of television in Spain. Its star, Ana Obregón, also served as producer and writer of the hit series. Ana is an exotic dancer who faces a tough economic situation and accepts a job as a nanny at a luxurious mansion. In this mansion, a widower man, his 7 children, the butler and the cook. The children are from college age all the way down to the youngest tike that stopped speaking when her mother died and the one that is closest to Ana. Due to the success in its home country, it has been adapted in Chile, Italy and Portugal.

The Mexican version of "Ana y los 7" will air in Mexico following the end of "Que Pobres Tan Ricos" that star Jaime Camil and Zuria Vega daily at 8:30pm. In contrast to the original, which was aired weekly, this adaptation will air daily. The main role has not been filled yet but rumors point to Blanca Soto and Lucero to take on the task.
