It's official: Rock in Rio 2013 is definitely a go. The biggest music festival in Latin America will take off on Sept. 13 and go on for a week, but tickets have already started to fly off the shelves.

Passes went on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, and can be purchased on the festival's official site. Prices range from 260 reais ($130) for full price and 130 reais ($65) with student discount. There are also special discounts for Brazil residents and clients of bank Itau, who sponsors the event.

Credit cards like Visa, Mastercard and Diners are accepted. Each buyer can obtain four tickets, which will be sent via mail during July and August, or alternatively can be picked up in Rio de Janeiro, where the festival will take place.

This will be the fifth edition of Rock in Rio, and some of the industry's biggest names have already been confirmed. Bruce Springsteen, Metallica, Beyoncé, Pink and Justin Timberlake will all be sharing the stage in Cidade do Rock, a complex built for the festival west of Rio de Janeiro.

Aside from music acts, the festival will provide with a variety of entertainment adhering to a specific theme. This year, it will draw inspiration from Great Britain, from whom Brazil recently took the Olympic Torch. An eclectic and bohemian atmosphere inspired in London's Camden neighborhood will provide colorful characters and dance performance, while bars and food joints will take on the appearance of English pubs.
