In breaking news, Fox News reported that police have shot 19-year-old terrorism suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnev. FOX-35 WXTF Boston reported at 7:07 p.m. Eastern, that "the suspect is down".

Residents on Franklin Street were apparently evacuated from their homes after a woman called police to report that following the door-to-door searches in the Boston suburb, her backyard shed looked different than it had when police departed her home. The woman called authorities after she noticed a shed door open and "bloody clothes" in the vicinity of a boat, according to journalist Shepard Smith.

Reports of 20-30 shots fired on Franklin Street caused local authorities to reportedly reinstate the "Shelter In Place" order that was just lifted by Gov. Deval Patrick, D-Mass. during a news conference in the 6 p.m. hour. Dzhokhar Tsarnev, the suspect who allegedly carried out the terror attacks on the Boston marathon lost his alleged co-conspirator brother Tamerlan during a separate gunfight Friday.

A robot is reportedly entering the new crime scene, in the area of 67 Franklin Street in Watertown, Mass. to investigate for possible explosives. As of 7:28 p.m., the suspect is down, but alive and moving.

At the time of the press conference, Superintendent Timothy Alben of the Massachusetts State Police expressed hope that indeed Dzhokhar Tsarnaev would be taken into custody alive so that he may be properly questioned to find a motive and possible ties, likely referring to foreign terror syndicates, if any. Police reported to the woman's backyard in Watertown to investigate a boat with a "winterized" canvas cover that reportedly had bloody clothes nearby or in it.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is, as of 7:39 p.m. Eastern, "holed up in the boat" in the woman's backyard, according to an WXTF-25 anchor. Live video of the crime scene shows numerous Massachusetts State Police officers forming a rough barrier around the block that Tsarnev is reportedly hiding in. Smith suggested the explosions were flashbangs similar to the ones used in a confrontation with alleged Los Angeles shooter Christopher Dorner, but the source of the sounds is yet unconfirmed by authorities.

Smith remarked how he was standing on a street in downtown Boston, reporting live for the network when numerous law enforcement vehicles suddenly streamed westward toward highways leading into Watertown.

Just over 24 hours after FBI Special Agent In Charge Rick DesLauriers held a Thursday afternoon press conference releasing the first images of suspects Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnev, police have reportedly found the terror suspect less than 10 miles from the scene of the alleged crime.

At 7:51 p.m., WXTF reporter Bob Ward reported as many as 10 "explosions" from the vicinity of the area that Tsarnev is cornered. The suspect is reportedly injured from complications following an overnight car chase.

Journalist Eric Shawn reported that a search of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's home uncovered explosives or explosives-related materials similar to those used in the Boston marathon terrorist attacks. Shawn also said on-air with journalists Bill O'Reilly and Geraldo Rivera that unconfirmed breaking new reports also reveal that a Federal search warrant was executed in the New Bedford, Mass. area, and three subjects have been reportedly taken into custody for questioning. However, these reported individuals have not been named people-of-interest or subjects as of yet.

At about 8:47 p.m., FOX reported that authorities have officially declared Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in custody. Rivera said Dzhokhar is "richly deserving of his punishment", which in his view would likely amount to a capital murder charge in a Federal court.

Motives for the attack are still being calculated by officials and pundits alike. As O'Reilly put it, authorities are continuing to work around the clock "to find out why this senseless garbage happened."

This is a developing story.
