Nintendo announces time and date of Nintendo Direct E3 event. Nintendo

Tuesday June 11 Nintendo will share a new Nintendo direct presentation the company announced last week.

Nintendo previously confirmed that it will not have a traditional press conference at E3, but will instead hold multiple Nintendo Direct events before the show.

The presentation will take place during E3 and will begin at 10 a.m. ET. The event will be streaming live from the Nintendo website.

The event was confirmed when the company tweeted this last week, "Hello. We already announced we will have another #NintendoDirectNA at E3, but now we can share the date/time: 6/11 at 7 am PT. #IwataSays."

Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe have stated that the subject matter will be future Wii U releases; this backs up a previous promise that games set for fall, winter and beyond will be shown off. So what games should we see at the event? Well Nintendo did announce earlier this month that they would be discussing a few games before the E3 event. Tweeting, "#IwataSays We will discuss new Smash Bros., 3D Mario game, Mario Kart and other Wii U titles in our #NintendoDirectNA before the start of E3."

The gaming company has already confirmed that Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and 3D Mario will be revealed at the E3 event.

This year it was made clear by the company that the event will focus on the Wii U. Last year Nintendo produced two main Nintendo Direct-style videos and two live presentations, including the smaller 3DS event, so it wouldn't be a huge surprise if there's more lined up.

Nintendo COO Reggie Fils-Aime and Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto will speak at a Wii U Software Showcase before the opening of the E3 show floor.
