Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge have debuted their newborn son to the world today. William and Kate Middleton acknowledged the royal tradition and stepped out of the doors of St. Mary's Hospital's Lindo Wing in London to pose for photographs and greet the crowd of well-wishers gathered outside.

In the midst of all the chaos and excitement, Kate revealed that welcoming their son into the world has been "very emotional," adding that any parent would "know what this feeling feels like."

The royal couple doted over their sweet bundle of joy, with Prince William remarking on the beauty of his son and attributing it to his radiant wife. "He's got her looks, thankfully," William joked. Kate quickly laughed and responded, "No, no, no."

The royal couple seemed to be enjoying every moment of the surreal experience of becoming parents. Prince William seemed so enthralled and happy with the birth of his son he even managed to crack some jokes. As for the baby's hair, William remarked, "He's got way more than me, thank God."

The royal couple announced that the heir to the British throne was born at a healthy 8 lbs. 6 oz. we have yet to learn his name. "He's a big boy. He's quite heavy," William told the crowd. "We're still working on a name. We'll have that as soon as we can."

The royal baby birth announcement without a name is not necessarily surprising. William's name was not revealed until a week after his birth in 1982. So know that time till the name announcement is drawing near, bookmakers in Britain have been collecting an enormous number of bets regarding the future monarchs name.

The top five most popular names are George, James, Alexander, Henry, and Louis. For George the odds are 5/1, James the odds are 8/1, Alexander 14/1, Henry 20/1, and as for Louis the odds are 15/1.
