Apple is reportedly launching iOS 7 Beta 7 TODAY! BGR released reports that Apple is planning on releasing it's seventh beta version of iOS 7 later today to developers. BGR attained this new information from "a trusted source" that confirms the build number is "much higher than the previous beta." iOS 7 Beta 7 is rumored to be distributed and available for developers at around 1:00 PM today.
Last week, BGR reported that the sixth beta version was originally planned for release today, instead we saw the launch of iOS 7 Beta 6 in the late afternoon. The uncharacteristic arrival of iOS 7 Beta 6 appears to have been an unexpected addition in Apple's release schedule -- Apple traditionally releases new iOS Betas to developers on Monday mornings. iOS 7 Beta 6 was an emergency release and addressed bug issues affecting iTunes in the Cloud.
Following the iOS 7 Beta 6 release, MacRumors believes that Apple simply bumped back their planned schedule and we can now expect to see Beta 7 arriving today. In addition, several reports confirm that the Beta version being released today will be the final version of iOS 7 provided to developers. Then, as BGR reports, the master version of iOS 7 will be distributed to Apple employees and partners on Sept. 5.
With this release schedule, it seems most likely that the master version of iOS 7 will then be released to developers on Sept. 10, following Apple's much speculated about media event. If this release schedule is true, Apple's next generation operating system, iOS 7, will be released to the public about a week later just prior to the new iPhone launch.
