EA Sports continues to produce some of the most popular sports video games each and every year. While many games appeal to even the slimmest of sports enthusiasts, certain games including the always-popular FIFA soccer series and the Madden NFL franchise continue to work wonders in the market on a year-by-year basis. The game of soccer across the world remains a constant favorite amongst sports fans and because American football continues to grow into one of the most popular games on the planet, it should come as no surprise that EA Sports does extremely well with these games.

Though the recent release of "Madden NFL 25" certainly had gamers everywhere chomping at the bit, news from multiple sources indicating a significant flaw in the game undoubtedly has users searching for answers as to how they can rectify the problem. According to Kahlil Thomas of International Digital Times, a freezing issue exists within the latest football game from EA Sports and although the company has issued a workaround for the problem, loads of gamers still complain that the problems still occur even after following the outlined steps.

"We are aware some users are experiencing intermittent freezing issues while playing Madden NFL 25," EA Sports said in a recent statement. "Our team is investigating the cause and is working on a resolution so that we can get everyone back into the game. Thank you for your patience, and for supporting EA Sports."

Problems begin when gamers attempt to connect "Madden NFL 25" to its online mode. Though the ability to enter the Connected Franchise and Play Now modes are still available through offline mode, the freezing has become a major concern for most of the purchasers because most gamers choose to play online. Issuing the temporary workaround, EA Sports hopes to have these problems fixed so the game's reputation can remain strong. Though these steps are reportedly enough to fix the problem, many users claim the workaround does not respond correctly.

User Reaction to EA Sports Workaround

EA FORUM USER oboyozzie: The walk around does not work!!! waited in line for the mid night release and paid upfront like a month in advance to get a game that i cant even play EA really did it this time and to think that y'all would will actually try to give us a walk around is crazy! This needs to be fixed it's been over 48hrs!

EA FORUM USER ernestoseaking: I've been biting my tongue for this long but I can't help it any more. This is completely and utterly unacceptable on EA's part. Games have ONE function to provide and that's the ability to for them to be played. How can you release a game without it being playable? That's like selling a new car that explodes when you start it, but the company says "oh well" and releases it anyway. It's going on day 3 now after going to the midnight release and standing in line for an hour and I still can't play the game I paid for. I've been a committed EA user for years now but this might be the straw that broke the camel's back. It's also pathetic that no one from EA even gives a **bleep** on this thread enough to update the people who each gave them $60 for a broken game. Pathetic EA. Get your **bleep** together.

It should come as no surprise that users are growing increasing angry with the freezing of "Madden NFL 25" when trying to connect online and the longer it takes to completely fix the issue, expect the negative comments to keep coming.

The shame of this issue is that the game itself is extremely entertaining thanks to real-life gameplay and unbelievable graphics. Hopefully EA Sports is able to rectify this growing problem in the immediate future to avoid any further backlash.
