The highly anticipated "Batman: Arkham Knight" release date is Feb. 24, 2015, or so the Microsoft store claims. "Batman: Arkham Knight" was initially slated for October release. However, we can't blame the studio for wanting more time to perfect the final chapter of the successful series.

"I have a massive game you may have heard of called Arkham Knight," said Kevin Conroy, the voice of Batman, in an interview with Groovey.TV at the Denver Comic-Con last week. "It was supposed to come out in January, we've been working on it for a year and a half, it's still not done. So it's going to come out next January, but I know everyone is frustrated. The reason it's been delayed is because it's so awesome."

"Batman: Arkham Knight" will be available for Sony PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Early reports promised "Batman: Arkham Knight" for PS3 and Xbox 360. However, the dated consoles will not be able to deliver the next generation graphics.

According to IGN, the Feb. 24 release date may be a "placeholder date" even though those are usually positioned at the end of a quarter. If the February "Batman: Arkham Knight" release date is confirmed, then it will be launched on the same day as "The Witcher 3," another high profile video game.

"Batman: Arkham Knight" will introduce a new villain known as the "Arkham Knight." Batman will also have to fast old foes including the Scarecrow, Riddler, Two-Face, Penguin and Harley Quinn.

Early reports suggest that the new villain known as the Arkham Knight is an associate to Scarecrow, who will play as the game's main villain. Once again, Scarecrow intends to use his fear toxin to gain control of Gotham City. This time, Scarecrow hires the mysterious Arkham Knight to make sure his plans will succeed. Arkham Knight will serve as the greatest physical challenge to the Batman, while Scarecrow will inflict psychological stress in an attempt to crush Batman.
