After 10 years in the biz with five critically-acclaimed studio albums, 21 Latin Grammys and three Grammys, Calle 13 might be throwing in the towel. In fact, many people are freaking out after the Puerto Rican duo gave their last concert together in Toronto, Canada.

Everything seems to signalize that the powerful pair is disbanding: From band members bidding their farewells on Instagram to René Pérez Joglar (Residente) and Eduardo Cabra (Visitante) getting separate social media accounts.

¡Gracias Toronto! Y gracias a los que en algún momento brincaron con nosotros durante estos 10 años...

It really breaks our hearts to see such an awesome project call it quits. But truth be told, Calle 13 is not splitting up; on the contrary, they're just taking a temporary break.

After announcing many of his solo projects on his new Twitter page which has garnered over five million followers, Residente announced that the band is not separating. "Why does the media keep inventing and talking about Calle 13 splitting? Working on alternative or parallel projects is not separating."

Clearly, the 37-year-old urban vocalist is fed up with the rumors, but we're glad he set the record straight. As we patiently wait for a Calle 13 comeback, we can't wait to see what the two talented boricuas have in stock for fans.
