Shakira is certainly not forgetting her roots, in addition to releasing a Spanish-language version of her latest single “Can’t Remember To Forget You,” the sultry singer has released a corresponding music video that is just as sexy as the original featuring Rihanna. The new version entitled “Nunca Me Acuerdo de Olvidarte” is sung solely by Shakira, and was released in Jan. 13 to rave reviews.

“Can’t Remember To Forget You” is the first single off of Shakira’s forthcoming self-titled album with her Sony record label RCA. The record marks the singer’s return following the birth of her son Milan, with soccer player and boyfriend Gerard Piqué. Shakira last released an album in 2010, with “Sale el Sol,” but now it seems the new mother has many things to inspire her. Billboard reports that her album “Shakira” is dedicated to Piqué, the album is set for release on March 25.

Now fans will be able to not only enjoy the song in Spanish but also the beautiful shot music video, which combines the two elements of the song, the reggae and the rock, with Shakira performing her iconic Latin-inspired hip shake as well as rocking out on a guitar and an impressive drum set.

Shakira is having quite a whirlwind of a 2014, with the release of her first single and two music video, comes in the few weeks leading up to her return on the hugely popular singing competition series, “The Voice.” Shakira will be back in the judge’s seat for the show’s sixth season on Feb. 24, and hopefully fans will get to see Shakira perform “Can’t Remember To Forget You” live!
