Even though Chiquis Rivera’s career had a rocky start after many Jenni Rivera fans criticized her for not being able to fill her mother’s shoes, the 30-year-old singer is finally brushing it all off and taking control of her musical journey with new projects, including the release of her music video, “La Necia.”

But according to an anonymous source, music is not the only thing that is making Janney happy right now. Mexican magazine TVNotas reports that Chiquis is ready to tie the knot with her boy friend of four years, Ángel Del Villar.

“She is very excited and smitten by him, and they are ready to start a family,” the source told the publication.

The informant added that the couple has been engaged for a while but they are taking their time before breaking the news.

“She is still not showing it [the ring]. She will when the time is right, they are taking their time before announcing it to the four winds; they are very happy,” they said.

Chiquis sparked wedding rumors back in 2014, when she caught the media’s attention for sporting a sparkling diamond ring on her wedding finger but she denied the possibility of a wedding.

“No, no wedding for now,” she told People En Español. “I am very focused on my career, the kids [her siblings]. I feel like they need me more than ever, and I don’t see myself leaving my mom’s house just yet.”

The lovebirds reportedly broke up for a split second last November, but if the chisme is true they will be hitting the altar en menos de lo que canta un gallo. Chiquis has yet to address the allegations.

Besides putting together what would be her second studio album, the oldest daughter of the late Diva de la Banda is also busy with a new product line called "Be Flawless Skin."

She will also join Luis Coronel on tour, visiting various cities in the U.S. Their first show is scheduled to happen on April 30 in Indio, California.
